For providing all the services available from District Administration easily and in a
corruption- free manner, a District E-service Centre have been established at Deputy
Commissioner’s Office in Jessore on experimental basis
in last October. E-service
centre is just like a one stop service centre, where people will go to a designated
counter for any of the services and will receive
all the required services from there.
People can apply online for any sort of services by logging in the web site of District
Administration of Jessore (www.dcjessore.gov.bd). During application, the applicant
would be provided with a token number. If the applicant has an e-mail address, status
of the service will be provided through that e-mail. In addition to these, if the applicant
send SMS (number - 16345) asking the latest status of his application, he will get it
through a return SMS. For ensuring service delivery at the doorsteps of the people, Eservice
centre will be established in remaining 53 districts by August this year.
